This exciting French version of Castaway's "Survivor" format features 16 candidates split into 2 teams. They are set ashore on a desert island with no resources. For a period of 40 days, they must overcome a series of tests, at the end of which only one contestant will remain the sole survivor and pocket 100.000 euros !

"Survivor" is the most successful entertainment programme in France and gathers more and more viewers from year to year since 2001 (almost 8 million viewers in average in 2009 for the 7th season shot on Palau island in Micronesia).
